Channels
Dynamic Channels lets you turn any voice channel into a Join to Create source. The moment a member joins that source channel, Voltcord creates a brand-new voice channel for them — matching the source's category, permissions, bitrate, user limit, and region — and moves them straight into it. Available on every plan, no upgrade required.
Setting Up
Run /channels setup and follow the guided wizard: pick the voice channel to make dynamic, choose a name for created channels (use {username} to insert the joining member's name), then review and enable. Run the wizard again any time to add another source — there's no limit on how many you can configure.
How It Works
Joining a source channel instantly creates a new voice channel for that member and moves them into it — no waiting, no extra click. The new channel inherits the source's category, permission overwrites, bitrate, user limit, and voice region, so it behaves exactly like the channel it was created from. There's no cap on how many dynamic channels can exist at once, across all of a server's sources combined.
Automatic Cleanup
A created channel deletes itself automatically the moment everyone leaves it, so nothing builds up over time. Removing a source (below) doesn't touch channels it already created — those stay until they empty out on their own.
Managing Sources
Use /channels list to see every configured source, and /channels remove to stop a channel from creating new ones. Both require Administrator. You can also manage sources — add, view, and remove — from the Channels page on your server's dashboard, with the same setup flow in a single form.
